Ah. And I had the right idea. 64 bit system will still run 64 bit
binaries. So....
[scully:openafs/src/aklog] shadow% lipo aklog -extract i386 -output aklog-i386
[scully:openafs/src/aklog] shadow% ./aklog-i386 athena.mit.edu
