[OpenAFS-port-freebsd] Overview of port?

Hello all,

I'm very new to AFS, and so to OpenAFS.

Are there any web-resources where I can read about the status of the 
FreeBSD-port? And perhaps some guides?

Soon, I'll have a look on AFS and I'd love to play with it on FreeBSD 
(-stable perferred).
