Hi,
I just installed a RedHat 7.2 Beta 3 system (kernel 2.4.6-3.1) and tested
OpenAFS 1.1.1 with it. I compiled new modules and (besides the fact, that
afsmodname can't identify my system) they can be loaded without problems.
Good work, folks.
The afsd runs and I can get a token. mount shows that AFS has been mounted
on /afs . I can check/set ACLs on /afs. However when I try to access /afs,
I get the message
     "not a directory"
so I can't cd to it, I can't ls and (consequently) I can't access any
subdirectory of it.
First I suspected ext3 to be the problem, but I did an identical
installation with ext2 and get the same problem.

Any ideas ?

Regards
Frank
