Thanks Harald,
I will be trying to contact e.kth.se on that. We need AFS on Tru64 5.1
badly, as there are more and more apps that do not run on 4.0F/G anymore,
including more efficient compilers. Transarc says nothing on 5.1 official
build (better to say barely nothing for year 2001).

We have Alphas both as servers (some 15 boxes over WAN) and as clients
(several tens). All server machines are single-processor and run Tru 64
4.0F/G and Transarc AFS 3.5/3.6, they are quite fast (vos ops such as "vos
release" are extrafast compared with Solaris or Linux). Multiprocessor
clients are also doing OK.
