[OpenAFS-devel] debug/optimize flags in Makefiles...

Actually, the main issue I'm concerned about is the behavior of how
selection of CC works with configure.

Cause, there's actually another CC involved - MT_CC, it looks like at
least on aix, you have to use a different compiler for multithreaded
code. 

My concern is - should I override KCC and MT_CC regardless, or should I
somehow try to figure out whether to take a default or not. (Same for
FLAGS)

In some respects, seems like it might be easier to just force the issue
and go against normal configure semantics, but that doesn't sit well.
