I wonder how difficult it would be to redefine the afs cache truncation
daemon routines to have the cache size mean:
Use all available space, up to a maximum of cachesize bytes
Then, adjust the cm code that deals with the cache being close to full
to go based on size AND current usage, instead of just size of the
cache.
For sites that want to use all available space, they could just set
cache size to be the exact size of the file system.
Major benefit would be that if this could be implemented, it would
completely eliminate cache corruption due to full filesystems. Well, if
it filled during a write of a cache file maybe not, but should be able
to deal with that by requiring that a certain amount of space be free.
