[OpenAFS-devel] OpenAFS 1.2.9 Release Candidate 3 now available for testing

A compressed tar file of OpenAFS 1.2.9-rc3 is now available at:

  http://www.openafs.org/dl/openafs/testers/openafs-1.2.9-rc3.tar.gz

Changes from rc2 include:

- The kaserver now disables interrealm authentication by default.  A new
  flag, -crossrealm, is provided to reenable interrealm crossrealm
  authentication; note that doing so is a security vulnerability.

- Cell identification code has been significantly rewritten to provide
  more consistant behavior between reboots.

- Assorted compilation fixes for Linux and Windows.

Please try out this candidate release and report your findings.
