I have seen the follow up post to this. I ahven't tried byte swapping.
I have tried explicitly setting the address but that doesn't appear ot
have much affect.
There's a lot of stuff to go through to figure out what may be different
about the way the test program and klog make calls.
At this point what I may do is lift the klog code out and start dumming
that down to the smallest possible set and make it a library to use with
the application I need to develop.
