[OpenAFS-devel] 1.3.81 vs. CVS

On March 20, DELTA install-cfgafs-20050320 for

   #17712: OpenAFS 1.3.79 - rs_aix42 - cfgafs needs to be installed

was applied to CVS file

   src/export/Makefile.in

Unfortunately, there is a strange confusion with the version numbers of 
that file, with

   1.17     Wed Aug 25 07:11:34 2004 UTC
   1.15.2.1 Wed Aug 25 07:11:34 2004 UTC
   1.15.2.2 Wed Aug 25 07:13:48 2004 UTC
   1.18     Sun Mar 20 20:26:19 2005 UTC

In any case, the mentioned patch didn't make it into 1.3.81 released to 
day. How are patches from CVS propagated to releases?
