The problem for getting new packages into stable is that changes to stable
are supposed to only fix critical bugs and are never supposed to involve
an upstream version upgrade.  That would mean that, to try to get the
fixes into stable, I'd need to backport specific deltas, something that
sounds like a horrible job and that I'm not particularly anxious to try.

The OpenAFS packages have changed a *lot* since stable already.
