Been trying to test.. but getting automake/autoconf errors:
cornholio openafs-snap-2005-01-14 {810}$ automake
automake: cannot open < Makefile.am.common: No such file or directory
cornholio openafs-snap-2005-01-14 {811}$ autoconf
configure:6221: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_FUNC_RES_SEARCH
      If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.

Been busy, but I'll see if I can get it going this week.
