Actually, this shouldn't be much of a problem.  The latest versions 
(1.2.13, 1.3.87, and the release candidates) have RO clones on a server 
which is only a short walk from that FTP server.  Thanks go to Jimmy 
Engelbrecht, who has arrange for hardware, network, and machine room space 
for the rep site in Sweden.
