Yup, pretty much daily.

I bet the kernel log tells you more info. I also have no idea where
you got afs.kext, or if it's actually x86_64 like it should be or if
you built i386 or what.

Also, there's nothing special about master versus 1.6 as far as the
kernel module, so if 1.6 works, master should.
