I can't seem to load the afs module on my SPARC box:
sun4m (Ss10):
SunOS afs 5.8 Generic_108528-03 sun4m sparc SUNW,SPARCstation-10
SunOS afs 5.8 Generic_108528-06 sun4m sparc SUNW,SPARCstation-10
openafs-2001-03-07, compiler: WorkShop Compilers 5.0 98/12/15 C 5.0
/kernel/fs/afs is libafs.nonfs.o
( I'm wondering why libafs.o is not built (by default)? )
however, nfsd is not started and the nfsserv module is not loaded
executing the afs.rc script or modload /kernel/fs/afs =>
Entry for afs already exists in /etc/name_to_sysnum
Loading NFS server kernel extensions
Loading AFS kernel extensions
can't load module: Out of memory or no room in system tables
(same for Chas module)
Any hints? Thanks in advance, ws
PS: is anybody using/evaluating afs and coda fs and could point me
to a comparison (not theoretical or the one supplied with coda,-)
