I installed OpenAFS a couple of months ago (more than six I guess), but
I haven't really used it yet :)

Now, I almost immediately installed the client on my W2k machine at work
Works fine. Now, I have the login 'turfre' at work and 'turbo' on my
AFS/Kerberos server...

First question: Is there any possibility to map (or change the default
login in W2k OpenAFS client) to that what my kerberos
                server is using?

Obtaining a ticket/token manually, I can access U: ('home' directory
on the OpenAFS server) without problems.
This directory isn't my REAL home, but the 'soon to be my real home'.

Second question: Where is the 'original' directory of /afs/bayour
(which is my realm/cell)? That is, WHERE do I add
disk space, so that I can move my home (to the /afs
                 mount)?

Third question: Is there any overhead of AFS? If I have one gig
now, do i need to add one gig + X meg to fit the
                 home directory?

Fourth question: WHAT do i backup? The original (see question 2), or
my cell mount (/afs/bayour)? HOW do i backup? AFBackup?
                 Special OpenAFS backup tools?

I have not been bothered to try OpenAFS on my Linux clients at work yet.
If it works on the win machine, where I really need access to my cell,
it will work on Linux to :)

Also, we're not using AFS at all at work, i just wanted (encrypted)
access to some directories on my private machine at home...
