Standard high-ed problem, I think. We're all so busy keeping our heads
above water, we never have any chance to polish things up and kick them
over the wall for other people to look at. A lot of that sort of stuff
was originally written with a lot of internal assumptions, and it takes
some effort to think about how to best present it so that someone else has
a hope of using it, and we never get around to it.

I've got tons and tons of random AFS-related stuff that I've been trying
to find time and motivation to put up on some sort of web site for a long
time, and I only ever get little dribs and drabs of it done. I wish I
could take a few months and just devote them to polishing things up for
release.

I'm trying to get some higher level support here at Stanford for setting
up a central site that we can populate with all the random tools that we
write to get stuff done, but getting stuff through the IP and licensing
people can be like pulling teeth.
