Not all version changes do, but for this one you should stop your db
servers on your old machine, make backup copies of /usr/afs/db/*, and
update the vlserver/ptserver/kaserver binaries to at least AFS 3.5
versions, then restart. If you have multiple db servers, you *must stop
all of them* before doing this update, then restart them. If you don't,
you risk damage.

Then, you can proceed as my last email said.
