[OpenAFS] Windows XP

Maybe I should rephrase this in more practical terms:

We have an AFS client on Windows XP, using OpenAFS 1.2.5.
Neither the user nor I can authenticate from his computer.  The
time (and TimeZone) are accurate.  The server listing and 
cell definition are correct.  We do not believe that there are
any firewalls between his computer and servers...   Though I
would be open to suggestions for testing this assumption.

I cannot find any reference to Windows XP support,  on the other hand UNC 
http://www.unc.edu/atn/dci/install/win/doc/ 
claims OpenAFS works with XP. 

does it?
