[OpenAFS] Large file weirdness

Hello list!
I'm running OpenAFS-1.2.3 on Debian Woody kernel 2.4.18 (both client and
server)
Is the problem below fixed in latest release?
Salvaging does correct the use percentage, but as I just discovered this
can be abused to exceed your quota.

bahmann@storch:~$ fs lq .
Volume Name Quota Used %Used Partition
users.bahmann 4000000 -14439409 -361% -56%
bahmann@storch:~$ rm largefile
bahmann@storch:~$ fs lq .
Volume Name Quota Used %Used Partition
users.bahmann 4000000 -16536561 -413% -69%
