Does using 1.2.2 server and/or 1.2.5 client seem to prevent the CoW
problem?

I am currently using using 1.2.3 client and server on a mixture of Linux
and Solaris servers, with mostly solaris clients (but about 4 linux
clients also)

I have seen .__afsXXXX files sprinkled around in some of my volumes, but
nothing catastrophic and their doesnt seem to be any data loss (we would
know)...

Is this CoW bug something that affects Linux Servers or Linux Clients?

We are using backup volumes, i have seen mention of this problem
manifesting itself on systems with backup volumes. I have however
tested my backups and they seems ok. Any suggestion?

Thanks for you time, I know how much work all the developers are putting
in. My sincerest thanks.
