Hi folks,=20

I'm having a bit of trouble getting a disk cache to work on SuSE 8.1. Me=
mory=20
caches seem to work ok, but disk caches cause Oops. After this i have to=
=20
reboot to try again. I'm having a little trouble making sense of this:

I'm running SuSE-8.1, smp, openafs-1.2.8 (have also tried with 1.2.10 w/=20
similar results). This always happens after i run afsd:

modprobe libafs...
/usr/sbin/afsd -nosettime -verbose

and get this:

=2E..
doSweepAFSCache: Deleting '/var/cache/openafs/D8/V16789'
doSweepAFSCache: Deleting '/var/cache/openafs/D8/V16790'
doSweepAFSCache: Deleting '/var/cache/openafs/D8/V16791'
doSweepAFSCache: Deleting '/var/cache/openafs/D8/V16792'
afsd: 12897 out of 12897 data cache files found in sweep 1.
Segmentation fault

The root filesystem on this machine is reiserfs and the cache is ext2 mou=
nted=20
via the loop device ~1GB though i've tried sizes down to 50MB with the sa=
me=20
result. I've tried on another machine that has an ext3 root partition, b=
ut=20
no luck. The installation on the various irix boxen in the office was cak=
e. =20
I don't know why I am having such trouble here. Any ideas?

Thanks.
