[OpenAFS] Emacs, Gnus or AFS problem (file to large)

Very likely it seems... 

[papadoc.pts/2]$ cd /afs/bayour.com/user/sundqvist/malin/.Mail/debian/user/english/
[papadoc.pts/2]$ find -type f | wc -l
  64433

Now, should I fix it, or rename (remove) the directory... Is it POSSIBLE
to fix it?
