[OpenAFS] bos: failed to add host

Hi,

i wanted to create a new database managment server (i already have 8). 
What i do is:

bos addhost afs.mydomain.de afsdbms9.mydomain.de

I get the error message:
bos: failed to add host afsdbms9.mydomain.de (index out of range).
Is there any maximum of allowed dbms-servers?
Does anybody know what this error message means?
