I vote for standardizing on the transarc paths, because thats how the
linux packages are built, so do the same for Solaris.  If you have cells
that consist of linux and solaris servers, then all the files are in the
same place.

I have been refining a Makefile that takes your tar ball and makes the
directory structure I want, with symlinks etc..  If you guys came out with
something similar that would be great news.
