Hello,
I am trying to install an OpenAFS server on RedHat Enterprise Linux.
For some reason the process of setting it up breaks.
I wanted to try to uninstall all rpm's (working with the src rpm) but for some
reason that doesn't work.
[1] : is there a way to completely remove all the AFS stuff, so that I can
reinstall everything again to give it another shot ?
[2] : the problem that occurs is :
[root@neptune X11]# bos create neptune kaserver simple /usr/afs/bin/kaserver
-cell afs-2.csc.depauw.edu -noauth

bos: failed to create new server instance kaserver of type 'simple' (entity
already exists)
and it looks that is not good. further in the process when I try to create an
admin etc, it is really clear it broke.
any suggestions ?
thanks,
Ron
