For practice try building a complete working system on 2 or 3 Linux boxes,
then migrate.

Hi again,

First thank you for replying.
I can't get your point - first you say that "nobody ever compiled the AFS
kernel module for that
processor" (which is also my oppinion after a hard search through the net),
and then you advise me to copy the kernel module into the boot image.
The AFS client is a kernel module. The server runs in user space. The kernel
module is built during the make ;make install; phase of the build.

Am I supposed to load the AFS client as a module?
For practice try building a complete working system on 2 or 3 x86 or PPC
Linux boxes, then change the boot image and test.. When that works try the
MVME6100.
And excuse me for the lame question but how you define a place in the boot
image as "appropriate"?
In vmlinuz.

Thank you once again.

Konstantin Boyanov
