Windows client is 1-5-60, kfw 3-2-2.
Debian server Lenny OpenAFS 1.4.7 built 2009-04-07.
I have installed only basic system Kerberos5b and OpenAFS.
Between server and client is not any firewall. On windows machine is only=20
windows firewall, antivirus NOD32 and Spybot search and destroy.=20
It seems that vesrsion AFS is old. I try update.
Thanks

Hi Roman,
5x slower than Novell sounds wrong. Are there any firewalls between the=20
fileserver and clients? Are there any firewalls on the clients or servers?
What versions of openafs are you running on the clients and server?
Locking should work for MS Office documents on windows clients with=20
recent OpenAFS clients and servers.
Object storage is an advanced AFS topic. I recommend getting a normal=20
OpenAFS cell working well and getting some experience before adding=20
object storage to the mix.
