Hello,

This is my first message on the list, I'm not very familiar with OpenADF bu=
t I have a question regarding the OpenAFS client on Mac OS X 10.6.

I installed version "OpenAFS 1.5.78 for MacOS 10.6 (Snowleopard)" .

I work at CERN so my goal was to use the cern.ch cell.

When I use either the finder or the command line to browse this cell the re=
sponse time is really long, like 1 minute to list the files in a folder.

Is it a problem with my configuration ? Or with the finder ?

I also have another question: in the "mounts" configuration I have the foll=
owing:
Mount name : AFS Home
Mount path : /afs/cern.ch/user/c/cxxxx

however the "disk" I see in the finder list is named "afs" and it opens the=
root of /afs . Therefore I don't see the point of the mount configuration =
...

Any help will be very welcome !

Thank you
