[OpenAFS-port-darwin] OS X hangs when accessing files

There's a newer client you should try, which I haven't gotten onto the 
release page yet. I will endeavour to do so tonight.

Alternately, grab
/afs/andrew.cmu.edu/usr/shadow/OpenAFS-20040623.pkg.tar.gz

I suspect you have the cross-filesystem hang.
