[OpenAFS-port-darwin] OpenAFS Client 1.6.1 (Snow Leopard) installer reports error / aklog fails

there were some files in the 1.6.1 snow leopard installers with bad permissi=
ons which I fixed the day it was first reported. all people who had open RT t=
ickets were notified but I failed to post here mostly because I've been snow=
ed under for months
