You're probably right.  The first jumbogram implementation of RX didn't do 
that -- it just used big UDP datagrams with a single RX header.  But it had 
some problems with routers which had small queues, so somebody put in that 
"packet headers inside jumbograms" code which, I suspect, obviates most of the 
performance gains from the original work.
