The trick we are using is to define SYSTEM authentication as

           SYSTEM = "AFS or compat"

in /etc/security/user, and AFS as an authentication method

   AFS:
           program = /usr/vice/etc/afs_dynamic_auth

in /usr/lib/security/methods.cfg. That way, any (in an AIX context)
well-behaved application should be able to authenticate and obtain a
token when using an AFS password. In particular, this is true for for
dtlogin. I think it must be for historic reasons that this stuff ended
up in a directory called 'src/tsm41'.
