[OpenAFS] Can anyone reproduce this under LINUX (was: temporary
reference files do not disappear)

I actually see a similar problem with gabber, which is pretty obnoxious,
as it'll show me all the old messages that I have received. I figured it
was a gabber problem at the time. We are also using 1.2.3, but I don't
have a good base of reference vs an old version, because I only started
using gabber a few months ago.

NG}
NG} Under AIX, Solaris, and Irix, the file ".__afsEB15" disappears
NG} immediately like it should. Whereas under Linux the file stays.
NG} Sometimes it takes up to ten minutes until the file disappears.
NG} Sometimes the file does not disappear at all. And this is very
NG} annoying because we have a few applications which remove their
NG} temporary files while these files are still open. After the
NG} applications finish these files do not disappear properly. That means
NG} after some time you have cumulated a substantial number of useless
NG} files on your AFS space.
NG}
NG} This behavior has appeared on Linux with OpenAFS version 1.2.3. Under
NG} version 1.2.2 this is definitely not the case.
NG}
NG} We are running OpenAFS version 1.2.3 on all above mentioned platforms.
NG} Our Linux kernel is compiled from scratch and it is kernel version
NG} 2.4.14.
NG}
NG} Any pointer or hints for solving this problem would be appreciated.
