[OpenAFS] -dynroot - what does it really do?

Ahh.  Yea...  "Don't do that!".    Indeed, all the documentation
explains that your cell should be mounted under root.cell, not under
root.afs.  See the Wiki, as well as any AFS documentation....

Well, you could mount root.afs somewhere under your root.cell.  But other
than that, no.

See the Wiki or the web.   There is a lot of documentation, and much
of this is discussed in it.
