Wasn't one of the folks involved in the "discussion" with Linus over
what would constitute an acceptable kernel hook a developer from Redhat?
Seems there's been some interest shown on Redhat's part.  Is that fellow
still actively interested or did Linus scare him off the project by
sufficiently enlarging the scope of the problem to be solved?
