Well, the one I can remember was a 14 second lag when you did an ls 
-l in /afs/<some cell> when using -dynroot.  (Hope my memory is good 
enough there.)

That's not precisely the problem I saw with 1.2.7, but I thought it 
might have been related.  (Also I may not have been patient enough in 
trying out -dynroot in 1.2.7.)
